CAVITE
Cavite is a province in the Philippines, part of the CALABARZON region. It's on the southern shores of Manila Bay, southwest of Manila. It's known for being highly industrialized and one of the fastest-growing provinces in the country.
With a history spanning over 300 years, Cavite played a crucial role in the Philippines' colonial past and fight for independence. It's recognized as the "Historical Capital of the Philippines." Cavite was central to the Philippine Revolution, leading to the rejection of Spanish colonial rule and the declaration of independence on June 12, 1898, in Kawit. Additionally, the old provincial capital, Cavite City, served as a key hub for Manila galleon docks, playing a vital role in trade between Asia and Latin America.
